Teaming with C2
Great Results Start with Great Partnerships
C2 partners with companies that complement our capabilities and strengthen the quality of solutions that we provide to our customers. We have fostered long-term relationships with some of the leading academic research partners and large and small businesses across the globe and continue to foster new relationships.
Teaming with companies that understand how the Federal Government works, and have the experience and knowledge to back it up, is important when trying to make key deliverables and meet rigid deadlines. Most successful companies have discovered that performing at a high level is often the difference between simply landing a contract, and being offered the chance to renew or grow that contract.
Small Business Development
C2 was once a small, disadvantaged, woman-owned business, and benefited from partnerships with large firms. Now, as a mid-size company, we are committed to partnering with small emerging businesses. Our leadership is currently involved in mentoring and accelerating several emerging businesses.
C2 recognizes the important contributions made by small businesses to our Nation. We believe small businesses, including small, disadvantaged, woman-owned, veteran-owned, HUB zone companies and Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MIs), bring good capabilities and technical know-how to assist C2 and better serve our customers. Our collective experience and innovative ideas are key to jointly building business in a wide range of areas. It’s good business and supported at the highest levels of management.
C2 uses the following criteria in selecting small businesses to participate in its procurement and acquisition process:
- Customer Knowledge
- Past Performance
- Financial Stability
Almost all subcontracting activity is accomplished through upfront teaming on specific procurements. Therefore, it is critical that small businesses interested in teaming have niches and capabilities relating to a specific statement of work contained in a procurement. Additionally, two great discriminators or differentiators are knowledge of the customer and strong past performance qualifications.
It is imperative that small businesses interested in a specific opportunity contact C2 early for teaming consideration before the release of request for proposal (RFP) or as soon as it is released.
