FAA Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Training

Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) provides 14 lessons of extensive computer-based instruction to firefighters responsible for responding to airport incidents; the program, sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration, covers such foundational basics as the ‘fire triangle’ and progresses to explain advanced strategic techniques for extinguishing aircraft fires and preventing loss of life.
