U.S. Coast Guard Workforce Planning
C² worked to investigate whether the National Strike Force Coordination Center’s (NSFCC’s) billet structure provided the human capital necessary to meet mandated mission requirements. The analysis began by identifying the functional tasks required to fulfill the NSFCC mission, along with the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) needed to perform those tasks. An online assessment was used to evaluate the availability of the KSAs in the NSFCC workforce and identify gaps against the established requirements. This information was used to develop a recommended billet structure that would support the Coordination Center’s ability to meet current and future mission requirements.
