Project Purpose:
To develop eLearning courses on lung cancer and a Learning Management Solution (LMS) to track course completion and Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits

The Results:

  • Developed “Lung Cancer in Kentucky” courses (see Demos below).
  • Focused on lung cancer prevention through tobacco cessation, lung cancer screening with low-dose computed tomography (LDCT), shared decision-making, enhancing treatment through collaboration with specialists, and lung cancer survivorship after diagnosis.
  • Created an interactive and engaging program consisting of four lessons that can be completed in individual segments.
  • Developed and provided the LMS which includes tracking for the course completion and CME tracking and credit.
