Defense Security Service Academy
C² is working with DSSA to establish a formal training curriculum and certification program for Industrial Security Program (ISP) professionals. For each of four ISP positions, the project team conducted a thorough job analysis to identify and validate a comprehensive set of skill standards, fielded an assessment to identify gaps between current and desired workforce skill levels, and completed a training needs assessment. This information is being used for the development of a comprehensive curriculum and certification program to support the development and maintenance of job-related skills.
C² is supporting DSSA in its training efforts by providing on-site personnel to support various aspects of the training, including facilitation and consultation support of Defense Security Training Council (DSTC) meetings and activities, editorial functions, and other functions as directed by the customer.
C² is providing on-site training specialists and strategic consulting support to Security Education, Training and Awareness (SETA) content managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and management staff. C² is supporting DSSA efforts to train several thousand security professionals and other government and industrial personnel, and to provide them with a method for training others, to blunt the impact of turnover in various government workforces. Support provided includes courseware design, blended learning solutions, and ongoing training transformation.
