Business Process Re-engineering for Human Resources
C² Team member BearingPoint developed and implemented a comprehensive set of recommendations for the new Forest Service HR organization. They developed a high-level, industry-standard service delivery model for HR business processes identified for re-engineering, standardization, and automation with a Human Resource Information System (HRIS). The project included:
- High-level service delivery model for over 50 HR business processes
- Transition strategy for the creation, validation, automation of “to-be” processes or elimination of “as-is” processes
- New or revised roles and responsibilities, new business rules, accesses, and delegations of authority
- Facilitated five functional teams in charge of implementing transition
- Transition support to the National Finance Center for HRIS transaction processing
- Identifying and developing end-user support — Knowledge Base content, training materials, Call Center scripts, and FAQs
