Contracting Options

Overview: Established by Congress in 1970, the National Highway Institute (NHI) is the training and education arm of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). The NHI’s mission is to provide technical transportation training and associated materials to the surface transportation community.

The objective of this contract is to develop, update, and deliver training, supplemental materials, and services to support training to advance the state of practice, and implement best practices for
the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Operations, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Transportation Performance Management (TPM), and Freight program areas.

Benefits
Contract Types at the Task Order Level: The task orders placed under the contract may be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Labor Hour (LH), Time-and-Materials (T&M), or a hybrid of those three types of contracts based on a determination by the Contracting Officer (CO).
Services Offered: This contract is for development, delivery of update of design and traffic operations, intelligent transportation systems, freight transportation logistics and transportation management training.
