C² AWARDED DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS ENFORCEMENT ON-SITE SUPPORT CONTRACT
(VIENNA, VA – July 9, 2009) C² Technologies, Inc. has been selected to provide on-site support for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)’s Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Training and Development (OTD). Under the arrangement, C² will deliver on-site contractor support via a wide variety of specialties and auxiliary services, to augment staff at designated DHS facilities.
The contract provides for one base year and four option years, during which C² will ensure timely availability of diverse services that allow OTD to respond more quickly and effectively to ICE training needs. Among the anticipated support services are program/project management; career development; administrative/mission; training and travel; financial and budget; consultative/advisory; as well as other human capital-related services as needed.
OTD has a mission to ensure that ICE personnel are properly trained and equipped with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to conduct assigned tasks in support of the ICE national security and law enforcement mission. OTD provides general training oversight across the various component offices of ICE; establishes and maintains standards for ICE training program and curricula; and promotes integration of training programs across the agency.
