U.S. Army Contracts C² Technologies, Inc. to Develop 3D Collaborative Simulation Training Technology

VIENNA, VA  (March 19, 2007) – The U.S. Army has selected C² Technologies, Inc. a prime contractor on the US Army’s DLETP contract to develop its 3D Collaborative Simulation Training technology for the Signal Center's Directorate of Training for the JNN-N Communication Systems (JNN).  The 3D Collaborative Trainer is a dynamic, software-based communications training system which provides a virtual environment as an enterprise solution for collective student and supervisor learning.

This PC-based product supports operation, maintenance, and management training models for both current and future systems. Offering easily configurable environments and learning content, the Collaborative Trainer can be hosted in a networked environment capable of supporting HLA-compliant simulations and includes student software for training nodal operators, as well as an instructor console for managing and monitoring training scenarios. Thoroughly formatted documentation enables upgrades and interoperability standards, allowing for adding or replacing modeled equipment and/or training content.

The system has been designed to offer a variety of dynamic training environments and content, thereby increasing the availability of existing "training equipment," as well as New Equipment Training (NET). This product will significantly improve the effectiveness of the Warfighter by providing scenario-specific training just-in-time, regardless of the student or instructor's current geographical location.
