Northrop Grumman Recognizes Contributions of C² Team
VIENNA, VA (March 14, 2007)—C² Technologies, Inc. was recognized today by corporate partner Northrop Grumman for its contributions to Northrop Grumman’s Navigator/Defensive System Officer (NAV/DSO) course. Northrop Grumman honored the C² team with its “Recognizing Excellence Through People” Award, a rare instance of Northrop Grumman presenting the prestigious accolade to teams outside the company.
In his official citation, TSSR (Total System Support Responsibility) Training IPT Training Manager Steven C. Miller credited the C² team with a “focus on quality and teamwork with [Northrop Grumman’s] suppliers [that] ensured that an outstanding [course] was delivered two months ahead of the program schedule.” According to Miller, C² was integral to ensuring that the finished course was in line with operational requirements and took full advantage of the Navigator Training System. Their specific contributions included editing 90% of the courseware content, providing system knowledge throughout development, and assisting with instructional activities during the first two classes.
The citation continued by saying that the C² “efforts directly contributed to the team’s overall success.”
